In 2016, Yesper Pos, now our CEO, started a local shop where you could buy all sorts of things: from sofa's to rabbit hutches and from plant pots to dog cages.

It was successful, but the main things he liked selling were the pet supplies.  Why? Because he saw that the people that bought high quality products to satisfy and take care of their pets, had love in their eyes. This is how he phrases it:

"I could just see that the people who bought products for their loveliest pets were good people. They had this love in their eyes that you just couldn't take away from them." ~ Yesper Pos

So in 2022, when he wanted to expand his company to the whole country of the Netherlands, he wanted it to be fun and enjoyable as well and keep seeing the people that take awesome care of their pets. People like you.

Therefor, Yesper followed up his passion for animals and the contact with animal-lovers, which then grew out to be PetUtopia, a pet-supply leading brand which now has 27 employees, multiple warehouses in Europe and customers in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Yesper's dream has been fulfilled, and so has ours, because we can now work with love.
